Evi informs Esther and Esther confronts Sylvia. Sylvia does not understand and tells Esther what she thinks happened on that night. She tries to convince Esther to buy the baby. Evi suspects that Sylvia is with Esther and decides to observe them. Ingmar has apparently also received this information.
