At the precinct house, Mac glumly admits to Ian that he fears his best friend may have been murdered. Meanwhile, Livvie vows to make Alison pay for her crimes. Inside the Pink Rose, Jamal asks Alison to call Rebecca out of the painting so he can speak to her personally. Up in heaven, James offers Rafe another chance to get close to the woman he loves, if only for one fleeting moment. Though Rebecca fails to respond to her pleas, Alison begs Jamal to believe she's been telling the truth. After Jamal departs, Rebecca emerges from her portrait and hands Alison a new candle which bears no label. James tempts Rafe with a video retrospective of recent events in Pine Valley. Reminding Rafe how lost Alison is without him, James urges the angel to go to her rescue before it's too late. Livvie plants her father's blood-soaked sweater in the trunk of Alison's car.
